What is this project about?

This poster explores the emotional tension between urban life and spirituality. The phrase, which translates to “In Tel Aviv, it’s hard to feel God, my dear”, expresses the disconnection between the city’s fast-paced lifestyle and the search for something deeper. Through this design, I wanted to capture the contrast between Tel Aviv’s vibrant energy and moments of inner emptiness or reflection.

How I felt during the project?

Creating this piece stirred a blend of introspection and connection to city life. I felt challenged to convey complex emotions with minimal design elements. The process helped me express feelings of isolation and longing that often accompany life in a busy, modern environment.

Design Approach:

I chose a minimalist design to let the words take center stage. The typography evokes intimacy and distance, while the subtle color palette reflects urban melancholy. Every design decision was made to highlight the emotional weight of the phrase.
